XP: Time is running out!
January 31 marks the end of getting XP on your computer without paying extra for it. If you want to save $99 on your new XP computer, then you have to place your order with CyberSmart by the end of January.
There will be a way to get XP after that date, but it will cost you an additional $$99 on top of the price of a computer. That matches Dell's price for getting XP Pro installed on your computer after January 31.
Starting February 1, CyberSmart - and everyone else in America - will no longer be able to purchase XP from Microsoft. So how will you get XP Pro on your computer after that date?
It's called the Vista Business/Ultimate Downgrade Program. The way Dell pitches it is that you will get XP Pro installed on your computer, and you will get a copy of Vista Business or Vista Ultimate if you want to install Vista at some later date. Dell will charge you an additional $99 for that option.
CyberSmart is going to match Dell on price. So there is no price reason to get a Dell when you can get a CyberSmart computer with XP Pro installed after February 1.
We want to note this is a Microsoft program and not available to just anyone. CyberSmart concluded qualifying for it on January 21. Make sure you do business with a firm that legally installs your copy of XP Pro as directed by the Microsoft Licensing requirements.
Don't get stuck with illegal software on your computer - if you are not paying for Vista Business or Vista Ultimate with your new computer, then it is impossible for that company to put a legal installation of XP Pro on your machine.
With CyberSmart you don't have to get forced into Vista! CyberSmart, using the legal Microsoft program, can get you into XP Pro (XP Home is NOT available to anyone after January 31, 2009) after February 1. But to do so, you will have to pay an additional $99 in licensing fees - the same price that Dell is charging. Because we are matching Dell's price, you know it's as low as you will see anywhere.
The smart thing to do is buy your new computer before January 31, and save the $99. But if you can't, then you know CyberSmart can legally put you into XP Pro after that date.
If you cannot afford a new computer now, CyberSmart can work with you to purchase your own copies of Windows XP now before the deadline! You can then purchase a new CyberSmart computer anytime in the near future, and we can use that new copy of Windows XP to install onto it at that later date!
